Accessing shortcuts with OneDrive

Until all shares are moved to Microsoft SharePoint you may still need to access shared drives and documents via shortcuts. These previously were accessed via your My Shortcuts folder within your H: drive. To access these shortcuts you will need to open OneDrive with File Explorer and not teams. The below guide will cover this process.

NOTE: This does not work on Kiosk machines.

1. Search OneDrive in the search bar in the bottom left of your screen

2. Select the OneDrive App

3. Sign into OneDrive with your NHS Email and password. Note: You can just click next on the intro pages and then the "Later" button on the "download OneDrive on your Mobile" page

4. Your OneDrive will now open. Once inside select the folder "Data From H Drive"

5. Once inside "Data From H Drive" select the folder "My Shortcuts"

All your previously saved shortcuts will live in this folder and will direct you to the correct shared drive or folder
