IT Skills - Finding your IP address

Occasionally IT may ask you for your computers IP address to help troubleshoot your device 

To get your IP address you will need to do the following 

1. Type "CMD" in the search bar on the bottom of your screen and select "Command Prompt"

2. When command prompt opens type "ipconfig" and press the enter key

3. a list of information will appear. Locate the number listed for IPV4 address. That is your IP address
