Simplecode Information
Installation
Simplecode is installed locally on devices but accesses certain resources from "\\svsimplecode02.uhsussex.nhs.uk\HealthyLauncher". Simplecode is launched from within Careflow in a patient context which makes a TPI call to Simplecode locally within "C:\Program Files (x86)\Woodward Associates\Healthy Simplecode Launcher".
Ivanti Package: "Simplecode for Careflow-1.2.8041"
Install files: "\\svviem01\swd\Distribution\Apps UHS\Simplecode for Careflow-1.2.8041"
User groups: "GRP-G-S-SimpleCodeUsers" (BSUH) or "RYR-GS-SimplecodeUsers" (SUSSEX)
Careflow role: "BSUH Role - IP Clinical Coding"
Issues
1. "Coding options aren't available when logged into Careflow"
If the "Clinical Coding" option is missing from the Navigation pane within Careflow then the user needs the Careflow role added to their Careflow account. This must be done by the Applications Management team.
2. "Simplecode won't launch - nothing happens"
If the user has the Clinical Coding options in Careflow and is finding a spell, right-clicking and selecting "Launch Simplecode" then nothing happens (no error message) then Simplecode is not installed on the device and should be deployed from Ivanti or installed manually. This should be handled by SD or Client Devices.
3. "Simplecode won't launch - Can't access systemc.rdf file"
If the user has the Clinical Coding options in Careflow and is finding a spell, right-clicking and selecting "Launch Simplecode" then they get an error message stating the systemc.rdf file (error message below) then the user's AD account needs adding to the appropriate user group. This can be handled by either SD or Applications Management.
4. "I get an error when saving coding in Simplecode stating no internet connection"
If the user is able to launch Simplecode and then code an episode but then gets an error message upon saving the codes back to Careflow as per below, they have an old version of Simplecode installed (the TLS 1.1 version) and need the latest version of the client deployed. This should be handled by SD or Client Devices.
5. "Episodes are missing from Simplecode"
If there is a spell that has more episodes in Careflow than in Simplecode, there has likely been a communication issue between the two via the TIE. It should be confirmed that ALL ADT messages from Careflow relating to the spell have been sent from Careflow to Simplecode by the TIE. If it is confirmed that they have been, a call should be logged with Woodwards to investigate. This should be checked by Integration initially and logged to supplier by Applications Management if no issue is found in TIE.
6. "HTTP Status code not OK (NotFound) for a specific episode within a spell when saving coding in Simplecode"
If a spell is coded in Simplecode and saved but a specific episode gives the below error, it is likely the episode has been deleted in Careflow and there has been a communication issue between Careflow and Simplecode via TIE. This should be checked by Integration initially and logged to supplier by Applications Management if no issue is found in TIE.
